Re-Opening Late June
In late June, a preserved yet beautifully enhanced new Four Horseshoes Public House & Dining Room will be launched. The new owners are a young but experienced local independent pub company. The pub will retain the majority of its original character, enhanced with new décor, fixtures and furnishings. A great deal of building works are being focussed on creating a new seventy cover dining area, incorporating an open style kitchen and reinstating the rear garden.
New Jobs for Locals
The business will be creating around 16 new jobs locally, both full and part time. Owners Justin and Allison Cooper, “The pub itself oozes with character so what we aim to achieve over the eleven weeks it is closed is to bring back to life what was historically a beautiful pub in a beautiful village. We aim to embrace all that makes a great British village pub. Our new kitchen will be serving a fantastic local fresh menu, all day, every day in the new extended dining room. During a time when rural pubs are closing at an alarming rate we are looking at resuscitating The Four Horseshoes to create an environment where both muddy boots and 'Sunday best' shoes will feel at home!”
The pub will also have a private dining room, "The Piper Heidsieck Dining Room" will cater for up to 16 guests for dining, parties and meetings.
The Four Horseshoes is recruiting chefs and front of house staff at all levels. An online application can be found on the website or email your details to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
