The evening is to raisie funds for Surrey Care Trust and will take place at Worplesdon Memorial Hall in Worplesdon near Guildford. On Saturday 17th January at 7.30pm. Tickets will cost £15 per head, which will include a Posh Ploughman's Supper (speciality cheeses, a variety of breads from Christmas Bakery and homemade pickles). There will be prizes, a raffle and a bar.
We are looking for teams of up to 8 people but don't worry if you are on your own or in a smaller group, we will match you up to make a team. You don't need to be an expert... although of course you are welcome if you are.
Rounds include...
- Life in the Borders: shrubs, annuals and perennials
- Bringing out your killer instinct: pests and diseases
- Know your onions: the vegetable garden
- Roots and branches: about trees
- Plot to plate: garden produce in the cooking pot
- Stately views and potting sheds: famous gardens and gardeners
- Arty Horty: art, music and literature with a gardening theme
There is even a garden-flavoured sports round, too!
